Your Journey: Itinerary

"I woke up late today, I missed my early morning prayers" He thinks, still, his face faces the ceiling, thinking about things that carry much less weight, taking his time like an extra second is promised.

Clearly, it's been stated for him not to drink, to abstain from such degrading habits, but he does it anyway, he does it to "Fit in" he does it because he will "repent later" like he could see later by the horizon.

They sit and waste hours talking about others, like they are perfect. "Oh my God, Shannaynay is dating Shanikwa now" they say, as they high-five each other. Like they were perfect, like they wouldn't if they could.

He finally saw the light, so he doesn't roll with them anymore, they are "sinners" he says. If only he understood, what good is knowledge if you fail to share, if you fail to educate.

It's time to pray, FIFA, 2 minutes left, "it's just two minutes" who gave you two minutes? A guy died in a conference, siting on his chair, after sipping some water.

Let's go to the club they say, you live but once. So if we all die, what? if not our deeds will we remember, I believe we'll all be occupied with thoughts of going to heaven or hell, not thinking "Oh, at least I had fun in the club" None of that.

Most love to dismiss such as "Mr. Preacher man" but no one is preaching, it's just there to save those it can. Never think that you are being judged, all you have to do is: Remember to think, always. We all need constant reminders anyway.

She's looking at the mirror, seconds after she stood up from watching Entertainment TV. "I am fat" she says, so she walks down the narrow corridor, her brother in his room playing First Person Shooters. She walks to the self, pulls the drawer and takes a couple of drugs, "My life is pointless" she says, as she swallows them all, hoping to change to a more "presentable" body.

Life is a journey, and your itinerary is on your hand, it's an open ticket and the plane waits for no one, ready or not, it will take off.

When you die, your so called friends and "family" will fight over your stuff with no shame. Use your head while you still have time.

When u die, those that care will pray for you and move on, many others will come to your funeral to eat free food.

When you die, count how much clothes, money, make-up you will carry to your grave.

Flawless

She's beautiful in every way. She may not know, but I know what I say. Many do not understand, but I know exactly what she feels.

Many fail to see what's within, to them, she's just another, to me, she's so much more. I understand her, and I know exactly how she feels.

In such a world, where things are not as clear as they appear, I can vouch for her, cuz I know her. Trust me, I have heard a lot of things, but who is perfect? Show me one perfect being and I will walk on water for you.

Who cares what the past holds, when the future may hold so much more. I do not deal with the past, I work on the present to be a part of the good side of the future, so that's what I do right now.

She is beautiful, but sometimes she feels insecure, she feels the need to hide, in whatever. But really, she shouldn't. She should not look in the mirror and ask why, she shouldn't even think of thinking of being 98% She should stay 100% her, cuz in the end, she will forever be beautiful, by heart and by face. All it takes is the right people around, she'll be the best there is.

Flawless, believe it, you will be it. Perfection, don't strive for it, it'll come to those that believe in better.

Beggars In Nigeria

Nigeria is affected by many problems, problems that may be created from the same source.  One of the many problems Nigeria faces today is the issue of beggars on the streets. There may exist several reasons why these people occupy Nigerian streets. Corruption, lack of education, lack on common sense, lack of experience, lack of job opportunities and unreasonable salaries, and sometimes even laziness. These people are regarded as parasites, all they do is benefit from their host for free, they tarnish the image of Nigeria, not only in terms of the physical but the financial as well and also, it shows that Nigeria is far away from proper development.

What we should ask ourselves is what lead to this issue and how it became something major and think of possible solutions. It definitely started out small, only a few beggars on roadsides, and just like a plague this problem gradually grew bigger, and before anyone could say a thing, it became the major issue it is today. There were far less beggars on the streets fifteen to twenty years ago. The number has increased ever since. This only goes to show that there is some kind of motive behind begging, however small or useless it may be, these beggars get something out of it and that is why they do it in the first place. Different people may give different reasons as to why people beg. It maybe due to lack of wealth, orphanage, disabilities, lack of school or job opportunities, or maybe even forced upon them by their parents who live in far away villages. All of the above may be reasons why we find so many beggars today; an individual beggar may pick one of the reasons while another may have collective reasons. Whatever the reason, it still does not provide any justification what –so-ever as to why anyone should beg. The reply you will almost always get from beggars on the street when you ask about the begging issue is that they have nothing else to do, or they have no other option. I say this is absolutely unacceptable. Most of the beggars’ people see gallivanting roadsides are able people who are capable of getting decent jobs such as gardening and cleaning for reasonable pay. But they refuse to, most probably because the beggars before them did the same. It has now become a vicious circle, the issue of beggars, it has started and it will not stop until someone breaks it. That someone could be the government, wealthy individuals or even the beggars themselves. It would even be better if these three factors come together as one and tackle the issue.

I have noticed that people only talk about the issue of beggars but they do not necessarily care about it. People should be afraid of this issue whether they feel it applies to them or not. This is because if care is not taken, the same little children that we look at as harmless little beggars are the ones that would grow up to form rebel groups and cause civil unrest in a state or even a country. It is happening around us everyday. We have seen the problems other African countries faced or are facing today. Rebel groups causing chaos for no reason. They might use political or religious issues to back their actions up but when one gets past all that, he finds out there is no true reason behind it. Beggars carry out most armed robberies, they themselves often confess and give reasons why and when looked carefully, we see that the reasons different robbers give are not so different from each other. Because they lack quality education, they cannot secure decent jobs and so they go for jobs with less value, jobs such as house cleaning, laundry or security guards, but they feel the salaries they receive from these jobs are not enough and so they work on fast, easier ways of getting money, which is no other than fraud and armed robbery.

The government should intervene, and fast because the earlier they intervene the better because the number of beggars on the streets is steadily increasing. We know that only a fragment of beggars in Nigeria have little or no academic knowledge; both western and religious. I just recently found out that not all of the beggars up North are Muslim, as I previously thought and as a lot of other people still think. The truth is far from that. These kids actually pose as Muslims so as to get help from Islamic leaders that train beggars and teach them the Qur’an and the ways of Islam. Even so, it is only a small percentage of these beggars that get such help; most of them depend on themselves for almost everything, walking around town day and night, looking for something to eat. What I feel the government and other wealthy individuals should do to intervene this problem is to support the people that raise and train beggars by providing them with quality tools, modern facilities and so on. Provide not just religious studies but western as well, because as I stated earlier, most of these beggars have no knowledge at all of the west and of their religion. People might ignore this because they feel it does not count, when actually the sad fact is that every little counts. Something good is lost for every uneducated person is how I see it. As at 2006, based on statistics, Nigeria’s adult literacy rate stood at 68.0%, now I am not saying that this is a terrible score but Nigeria is capable of doing better.

Other than funding schools and education for the less fortunate, other creative ways of putting these beggars to good use maybe created. In England for example, beggars are provided with a Magazine called the big issue to sell to the public, what they make is theirs and from it they can find shelters to stay for a night. At least this keeps them from sticking people up or stabbing innocent people and stealing from them. The Nigerian government could make something similar, at least something to keep them busy but at the same time give them something to take care of themselves.

Of course the government and other wealthy individuals have other issues to address and so all focus should not be put on this issue, the beggars themselves have to do something for themselves. Since the problem mostly arises from the villages or outskirts of a town or city were people bore more children than they can actually take care before sending one or two of them down to the city to beg. Such people should also be kept on close watch.

If we really think of it, all these children could be put to good use and to aid in making Nigeria a better place. Why can’t the able ones help, why can’t the government do what it is supposed to do for these kids and for Nigeria as a whole? The issue or lack of funds should not even arise when addressing this case because the funds exist. The funds are there in place and with the blessing God has given this Nation, I strongly believe it highly impossible for the government to lack funds for helping the beggars.

Nigerians want to belong were other developed countries are, but how is this possible when we have failed to accomplish even the simplest task. We have leaders saying they want to re-brand the country, change the image from negative to positive. The question is who are we deceiving if not ourselves. It is very impossible to brand the negative image Nigeria has propelled outwards with a positive one because there will be no proof to justify that we are positive in any way. Trying to re-brand Nigeria is exactly like changing an old book’s cover and selling it at the price of a new one, the pages and text in the book remain the same old thing. Just a week ago, 10billion naira was proposed for Nigeria’s 50th birthday. First of all, we have not achieved anything worth celebrating yet and the money can be put to better use.  We have bad school and hospital services; even our defense forces need bright rays of light. We still experience electricity and water problems but we have 10billion to spend on absolutely nothing.

This same funds aimed at Nigeria’s 50th anniversary could have gone to clinics, schools, roads and electric and water problems, it may have been used to put most, if not all of these beggars out of the roads and into well maintained foster homes and provide them with good quality schools.

The main reason why Nigeria remains like a turtle on a pilgrimage to Mecca from South Africa is because there is miss allocation of resources and mismanagement of funds, and to top it all, there is too much corruption and illiteracy running through the minds of its people. People blame the government, but if you check, even the poorest of poor are cheating one another. Corruption has eaten Nigeria to such a level that people lack common sense and know not their rights as citizens and as human beings.

This issue of beggars is a very vital issue, and I feel it should not be ignored at all because it is these same people that are our future. What future will we have if our leaders cannot count to ten?

Ugly Truth

Rather than working extra hours to acquire 50 elixirs, 50,000hp, all aeons including the secrete Yojimbo, most will settle for less. As these people laugh at me, I cry for them, cuz Truth has no demographic, nor does it discriminate, and blocking your eyes and ears will not end its existence.

They love to cower behind money, it builds their confidence, makes them proud, so proud they forget where they came from, so proud they forget why they're here as they become slaves to society, disregarding morals and all cognitive function just to smile around fake people in a fake environment. Money ain't everything, Steve job's dead now.

Life is great to those who see it and it is plain stupidity for one to think that of all seven billion, they stand a chance of being relevant; therefore you should not mix yourself with fake people, people that only assist you in bad, who with them discussions are but filth and negative. Be around positive people, those that can make you feel good about yourself, about life, those that only make you a better man.

To a lot of people, fame is the room, money is the bed, so with both, you're safe and comfortable, hence the huge circles of friends, constantly discussing issues like cheating on X-Factor and the life of Kim Kardashian. Who is who, whose bag is fake, who rides nice rides and who shops at primark. Talking about stuff they don't have to get to people they shouldn't, so when It's all said and done, all things negative lead to nothing but sadness and regret.

But then, words alone wont suffice and I pray to God to make these words flow with intention and actions follow right after. See, the thing is Girls preach with their breasts exposed and boys wish to stay rich when their dollar is spent on smoke. So what should I believe, your words or your actions, cuz some people mean good but keep doing bad, but if you fall under that category it's best you check yourself. Check yourself fast.

So, life's simple. When you lie, or praise the ignorant, the ones with huge chains, wait, it's ironic, how our forefathers suffered in chains and whips but now our brothers want nothing more but whips and chains. Anyways, I was saying, now, you get praised for praising the ignorant, always bragging about money and who you slept with, so when someone decides to argue against you, he is the bad guy, "Mr. Holy" the guy that knows it all and all sorts of shallow titles. Is it not unfair for people to exercise stupidity and prevent anyone from criticizing?

Lies they come in shapes and sizes, and some are obese and some are anorexic, some are like clones; hard to tell, while some are evidently pirate. I don't fancy hypocrites, I mean we all have a degree of that in us, but then, there are people who have mastered the art of hypocrisy. One thing I know is, we talk or we don't, we're friends or we're not. I cannot like or hate you behind your back and become Mr. Smiley to your face.

Now let's move to propaganda, how the media conditions us to believe in things that do not even add up, so we become like zombies, brainless, eating other human beings with no direction what so ever, so I have the news to tell me that my religion is radical, when I read the Qur'an, pray 5 times a day, give out to the poor, and strive to love my brother as I love myself. I know that my religion promotes peace, patience, forgiveness, so how can someone that has failed to bend on his knees before God ascertain enough confidence to tell me my religion is evil? My religion isn't evil, and I forgive you, but ignorance ain't bliss, May God guide you.

I play games to pass time, I don't play them to know more about life, so constantly putting it in my face that Russians, Koreans and Arabs are evil won't make me join the army. Oppose racism or tribalism of any kind cuz mankind is one and if we were not as blind, the world would have seen better days.

Life of a gangster, heart of a saint, if you go to church on Sunday, be sure to find him. So a book cannot be judged by its cover and a pretty girl; never heard a word, finally heard something at the age of 45, think about the joy, better yet, think about how little means so much and try not to forget, be forever grateful cuz little to you might be someone else's everything.

Now they say he listens to Kendrick Lamar and Boona, well it beats listening to Big Sean and Minaj who only teach you how to become faker. I need inspiration, I need motivation, I do not need lies and fakery so I listen to things that'll make me wiser. I know a tool from a savior and I know exactly what conditioning is. Just like anthrax, there are labs of ignorance, and they are injected into the minds of many so when they become sick they bow to the ones that gave them their illness.

People lie to survive, but the truth never dies, and when it's time for justice, good>evil. And I don't mean justice here I mean justice there, so lie all you want, the real CCTV knows you well.

So you spread rumors, why? Cuz you are self centered, but know; rumors are like STDs, they are both disease. So bringing more people into the equation doesn't mean you are cured from the ill, it only means that you are building a pile of zombies that will turn around to bite you soon enough!

Tiger Blood

Open your eyes, this is not inception, this is life, this is reality, no misconception. Be part of those who choose to be team ascension, high rise, rise high, see the world from eagle-view, see life for what it really is. From the bottom, a few feet above sea level, things are iridescent, changing with angles and sides, but from above you see it, as it is. clear. Rise above the faint hearts, the ill-thinking, mean mugging, backstabbing, ghoul loving beast, and feast your eyes upon the feast for he who loves the world a thousand times more than his soul and will condemn it as soon as he sees the offer, so think twice and then monitor how 100 hits the thermometer cause the devil is around and the weak cannot survive and then must burn in a thousand suns cause they once ran from reality and were part of the anomaly that caused for babies to sin, and to consider deceit a win, hence glorifying all ills, while will is dead and resurrected and lies and hypocrisy.

Don't blink, cause in seconds, it can change and forever you will be; in this maze of mass destruction so don't move while the storm rages, look right into the sand as it blisters your eyes cause they blisters won't blind you if you face them, if you don't indeed you're blinded, don't be weak, you be like Hercules, don't be dumb please be like Muhammad, and you'll see you ain't an ogre but a prince as fine as Joseph, and your life both here and there will be blessed with bliss and all that's beauty.

See I did not grow up in the hood, but my mother takes me there every now and then to ensure I know money and power ain't everything. I see people with not a dime smile upon the blessings from God as those with billions frown down upon misery. If you don't do it for non other, then be sure to fail cause success will always seem like failure. Those that cannot be content with little, will never be content. Not even in a pool of Gold, outlined by diamonds.

Never mess with people's feelings, we are all human. Never judge, cause God only knows, but sometimes it's difficult because people act in ways man cannot comprehend. May God forgive us, the ones before, and the ones that will come after us.

People think they know you cause of twitter and because you've mentioned them twice. But no one knows anyone cause when it is all said and done, only one returns to his room, and anything that occurs behind closed doors is between him and God.

Life on earth, complex and simple. Truth and lies have been mixed, tools to make man turn away from reality and practice modern day slavery. Slavery still exists and all man plays a part. Those slave ships have become more versatile, dwelling on different habitat. If you speak or go out of line, Earth makes the augmented slaves to criticize, ridicule and when too strong; kill you. So a man that stays from being chipped, is a man in constant attack.

Be you and not them or what the TV says, be strong and fight till the end. This life is a war, from beginning till end, some gave up, some died trying. I will die trying before giving up, by God. So today I choose to say, it's hard and it's a challenge, life. But when it's all said and done, I cannot budge, I have Tiger Blood.

Thoughts From My Blue & White Wall

All these quotes below are quotes I thought of and posted at one point in time. I have collected about 36 different thoughts from my head and my blue and white wall and have placed them here. It ranges from quotes about strength, fear, hypocrisy, and so much more. Feel free to go through all the various thoughts I have posted below.
1: Anyone who tries to fix the world on his own watches too much X-men, there is too much going on for one man to handle, besides one cannot fix the world unless he fixes himself... But, one can always correct the wrong doers, and say the truth were it needs be. Freedom is a gift, if you don't use it, someone else will show you how to use your own freedom.
2: A strong man is not one that throws his opponent in wrestling, a strong man is a man that bears with the pain he goes through in his course of life. We are tested in many different ways, it is essential to understand the essence of faith and that nothing happens unless Allah wills, so whatever happens to you, ask for forgiveness and pray even harder. May Allah grant us that strength...
3: If we say everything we see and hear, the world wouldn't be this stable.
4: I don't believe in history books... Everyone has his own version of history, everyone writes what he wants the people that come after him to believe... There is only one person capable of telling history, the person that was present at that time, but that's why its called history right? Cuz it is in the past and the people that took part in it are dead and gone... History is just a story, with a tinge of truth in it.
5: People have opinions on how and/or what we came from. Science tells me i came about by mistake, that i started as an atom billions of years ago. Some people like to justify that God doesn't exist through this theory which is inaccurate from my point of view. So the question i put forward to the people that deny the existence of God is, even if we indeed happened to come from an atom or spec, what created that spec?
6: Life's all about teaching and learning, giving and receiving, praying and believing, falling and getting up... Earning and Sharing, loving n caring.. Life is not about you, and it's not about me, its about US as people... We should give what we want to receive and avoid giving what we despise. Life's simple, it's only as complicated as you make it.
7: When you are creative and imaginative pple call u strange, when u do things pple cant understand they say you are weird. Pple generally hate what they cannot understand so they hate both u and your idea, so in this world of envy, know that when someone hates on your creativity, it goes to say you are indeed creative...
8: Prayer is meditation, meditation is peace, peace is joy, joy is love.... Praying Five times daily combines it all and relieves you in an instance, if prayer is compulsory for you, don't avoid it, it helps you....
9:A hug is all we need in this world of deception, hug with caution though, some mite hug just to crush you...
10: Learn to never disrespect a Woman no matter what she does, because no matter what, without a woman, a man cannot be....
11: A person can go to church, just to kill the pastor.... Its not the outside or the sight of something that matters, it is the inside, the intentions that matter the most. But we can never see deeper than the skin, so we hope we along with the people around us have good intentions that accompany our actions.

12: How history is told lies within the hands of the victor.

13: Be confident, not cocky, presentable, not over-stylish, kind, not stupid, fun not crazy, versatile not a hypocrite, polite not quiet, be rich not wealthy, be strong not powerful, be a leader not a dictator, listen, not brainwashed, give, not collect... Be you, not him.
14: To me, make up's just a mask so don't hide yourself... If you don't think you are beautiful, then i don't know what you think you are. And it is not even about modesty, it's about self respect. If you do not respect your own beauty, then no one else will, and if a mask is what you live by, they they'll all love you for the wrong reasons. No that love's about the real you and not what you put on top.
15: Mother= Best woman in the world.
16: If you give me all your heart, you give me the power to crush it.
17: If a person says to you that he "won't betray" you, without you asking. Don't trust that person.
18: A small gift given by heart is much better than a big one given without intention.
19: Never let anyone look down on you and your creativity. The brightest of ideas start little.
20: Ignorance is a form of cancer.....
21: We are all good pple, we only often make bad decisions... But the best amongst us are those who correct wrongs fast and effectively.
22: People who say God doesn't exist cuz they cant see Him shud point a finger at something and say, that is love.
23: The truth is bitter... So is panadol.
24: People tend to dislike what they cannot do or understand.
25: Connect 1 and 2 and stop believing everything you hear....
26: An honest man is a modest man....
27: Life is all kinds of things but one thing life aint is forever, make the most out of life, make the most out of life positively...
28: Black or white, it doesn't matter. Life is life, love is love. Racism has no father, it's a bastard, and it is so out of fashion. Be current
29: Fight for what you believe in, not what others think is right
30: I like he who likes me, and know not of the existence of he who doesn't.
31: People should try to use this policy more often: "Not your business? Don't complain"
32: He who rejects criticism in any form will not learn nor teach
33: It is not ignorance when you pay no mind to that which does not concern you.
34: The Tiger doesn't kill the deer because it can, the Tiger kills the deer because it needs to eat.
35: There are pple in life, who can't afford to buy expensive things, but their realness is priceless. And then there are pple in life that can afford all the gold in the world, but cannot afford to be real.
36: To me, a coward is not a man that runs away from a lion, a coward is a man that praises in front and gossips behind.
And yes I am very aware of all my actions and yes i am aware that not all of my actions are correct or acceptable. I am also very much aware that its my duty as a citizen of this world to be entitled to my opinions and to carry my actions accordingly, i am aware that i cannot be selfish and as such should allow others speak and correct me when i am wrong. One thing i am not aware of though, is an entity that will tell me to remain silent and speak not when truth is all i offer...

Ugly By Nature

She was an innocent girl with an innocent smile, but she lived in an ugly world and among ugly people; not ugly by appearance, but ugly by nature. She knew who he was, but she was willing to give him a chance. She heard, "they are all the same" but she saw the good in him, the only side he projected. He promised her, he said he was different, she believed him.

She gave him everything, and he took it, but he never gave it back, he left her broken, not in two, but in pieces. She cried, swore and never again. An innocent girl, turned cold, changed and became one with the ugly world, deep down still pretty, still innocent, outside, ugly, just to stay sane.
